Skoda Yeti (2009 - 2017)
SE 1.4 TSI 5dr Hatchback
Its a Fridge.
Just like a fridge, you get a Yeti and then forget about it.
One you have, metaphorically, plugged it in and started using it you never give reliability or function issues a second thought.
Not the most inspiring drive and the tyres can be very noisy on some road surfaces.
We did steam up once and noticed a dribble of water inside which we guess came from the giant glass roof but it seems to have been a one-off and has never repeated itself.
Great versatility and ease of access and use means the octogenarian relatives like getting in and out much more than other cars we have.
As we do lots of short trips with only the odd longer one in this car we have the 1.4 petrol which has proved to be plenty powerful enough (and I drive a Supercharged Jag) with a surprising amount of torque for such a small engine.
Ours is a second vehiclke for the wife, but I would recommend it as a great only car.
