Well what can I say, after many years as a happy ford owner I decided to purchase one of the "new shape" Mondeos, this was done in 2009 in the form of a 2.0Ltr Edge showing 3k on the clock (petrol) now showing after 9 years 152000k, overall I have not been disappointed with the car it can take you anywhere in comfort all-day it performs well and handles like a Focus (and Ive had two of them) big roomy comfortable cabin with all the mod cons you could wish for even at entry level Edge version.
Performance wise plenty of grunt when powered up and even when pulling my 21' caravan, fuel economy around the doors 32ish and down the road 43ish, as for maintenance two sets of rear pads and three sets of front ones, the usual tires and engine services only big thing was a cat as the flexi ripped and could not be repaired.
Would i buy another, well im looking now at 65 plate 1.5 petrol only hope its as good as its predecessor.

O and by the way did i mention "its a drivers car"
