Ford Mondeo (2007 - 2015)
2.0 Eco Boost Titanium X 5dr Hatchback
Excellent well equipped and roomy drive
My third Mondeo.
My last Mondeo was the previous body shape with the 2.5 V6 engine Ghia X level of equipment. The main problem was the V6 engine - a lovely drive but 'dirty' so a lot of carbons and the highest Road Tax level.
The latest Ecoboost 2.0 has more power, is quicker and has lower emissions - resulting in half the Road Tax and better (marginally) mpg. It is still a joy to drive.
The interior is large and spacious with a huge boot - just the thing for transporting my wife's and my golf equipment around. Also well equipped with most of the toys you'll ever need including front and rear sensors to help park - a necessity as the Mondeo has grown over the years. Like the previous reviewer, I also have occasional problems with the Cruise Control not working properly, but this is only sporadic. Ford might like to look at their Cruise Control sometime.
If you are not a badge snob (which I am not - I just want value for money) then you could do an awful lot worse than a Mondeo.
