Cheap to run

Solid 1.4 petrol engine zetec spec, plenty of space for 2 golf bags and trolleys, town driving 35mpg in the winter with air con on, summer 37mpg Local with duel carriageways 38.8mpg motorway around 45mpg winter, summer 56mpg..had the car 7 years .
Each year I think I will by a new car ..but it's still a great car..only replacement water pump cambelt at 53k..new front disc and pads drivers side spring , and new battery that was due to covid and not driving..regas the aircon ..car ins £248pa road tax £150 only service the car ever 2 years , only travel about 4k a year now at most. Avon tryes are great for cutting down on road noise. While giving good grip in dry and wet weather I'm not 21 anymore I'm not bothered about super grip in the dry more importantly breaking in the wet and Road noise there again I am in my early 60s
