Ford Fiesta (2008 - 2013)
Titanium 1.4 5dr Hatchback
Great all rounder
My very first car was a 93 Fiesta Diesel back in 1999. Now in 2009 I finally had enough money to buy a car new, and weighed up the opposition from Ford, VW, Vauxhall and Fiat.
The Mk7 Fiesta was the best option for me in terms of spec and price, coming with options such as climate control, power folding/heated wing mirrors, cruise control and privacy glass that other manufacturers couldn't offer at the same price point. The 1.4 petrol engine is good once it gets going but feels a little underpowered off the mark, however economy is reasonable for this class of car. Comfort wise the Fiesta is very good, feeling much bigger than the outgoing model and closer in my opinion to the Mk1 Focus than the Mk6 Fiesta in terms of interior cabin space.
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, I would gladly recommend this vehicle to others.
