A quality compact
My first Ford after many Rovers and a Peugeot.
I ready Honest Johns article post launch in 2009 and decided to look into this model further.
I decided upon the 5 door 1.60 diesel Zetec model.
It is a tremendouse car to drive, excellent road holding. The build after 32k / 3 years remains sound. Never had starting or electrical problems, which my Peugeot gave me!
I am getting an indicated 53 mpg.
Having come down in size from a 307sw, I have noticed rear road noise and added sound proofing pads to the rear boot floor. That is about it, Ford have presented a car to the market which looks more towards Audi than Citroen and I believe is an exciting start to a new generation of quality small cars.
