XDrive 20d SE Auto 5dr 4 X 4

After nearly two years and twenty thousand miles I think it's the best car I've had.

My only hassle since purchase has been punctures in each of the rear wheels. The run-flat system works a treat, though (I drove 200-odd miles with a puncture on one occasion), but the tyres are quite expensive. Otherwise, apart from fuel of course, no other costs.

It does seem like a big car to wash . . .

Oh - and during the the last winter thaw, I was unable to get up my slush-filled unmade drive (I live on the side of a hill) for a couple of hours until the snow had melted a little more. In previous weeks, repeated journeys up solid, glassy sheet ice on the same drive were no problem at all.

The (large) dog's cage fits comfortably in the boot.

Overall I love it (and have great difficulties prising the keys out of my missus' hands). It feels safe and substantial - and I'd certainly consider buying another.
