Lowering a Fiat Barchetta 22 Feb 2006 (Forum)
I´m thinking of lowering my Fiat Barchetta. In fact that´s bit of a fib, I´ve bought the springs from eBay for ?60 for the set of 4 and they claim to lower the car 25-30mm. Aesthetically I think the B rides a bit high. I don´t want to completely pimp it to the tarmac, and would appreciate any -

I wonder if anyone could offer an opinion/advice please? I have an Escort diesel van 'S' reg non turbo and you'd swear I was carrying 5 tons in the back! Some hills are no go areas as there is such a severe lack of power. I went to a local garage who suspected it was going to cost £300 to repair -
Re: Help - Wrong fuel!! 14 Dec 2005 (Forum)
I put £4 worth of unleaded into my boyfriend's diesel Golf TDI S reg today. Petrol attendant told me it would 'probably' be ok to top it up with diesel and let it run for a few minutes to burn off. It ended up with £40 diesel to £4 petrol and has run fine for a 200 mile return trip. What problems -
Gus Wilson Stories 1 Nov 2005 (Forum)
When I was a young lad in Canada in the 60's, I used to enjoy reading the Gus Wilson stories in Popular Science magazine. Gus fictionally ran a small town garage and, every month, he solved difficult car problems in a systematic and inventive way. Gus taught me a lot about how to diagnose -

French 4x4 15 Jan 2005 (Forum)
Sitting in a jam on a french motorway, as many cars passed quicker than me (typical) I wondered why the french manufacturers have not entered the 4x4 market. OK, in the 80's you could get a 4x4 405 and BX; and Renault did the Scenic RX4 but they've never done a big 4x4. Given Citroen's experience -
Bullbars 24 Dec 2004 (Forum)
