Suzuki Vitara (2015 on)
1.4 Boosterjet Sz-T 5dr allgrip hybrid
Decent, economical and good to drive.
Bought this new from Startin Suzuki in Worcs back in Sept. Done over 1k miles in it so far and have to say what a tidy little car. I bought the hybrid which is a 'mild' hybrid but system works well and is easy to live with. Ive averaged 43 mpg over the first 1000 miles which given ive been running it in a bit so taking it easy im happy with. I paid less than 20k as there were finance offers etc so took them and it brought the price down to just under 20. Handles well and is lively enough with the 1.4 boosterjet motor. Feels sure footed if pushed. Ive got a set of winter wheels and tyres to go on it shortly so should be good for winter driving. Its comfortable on a 3-hr run and the DAB radio works well.
Things im not so impressed with? The lane departure system- just turn it off! The auto braking system has to be manually turned off every time as its just annoying and alarm goes off way too often. Ive pulled the SD card out as dont like sat-navs running constantly.
Servicing costs are a bit high but doubt I will keep it more than 18 months so will only pay for one. All round its a good car and has a good awd system,
