Suzuki Vitara (2015 on)
1.6 DDiS SZ5 Allgrip Tcss 5dr SUV
Well equipped reliable Vehicle
I was after a replacement for my Golf Plus which became unreliable.I wanted a similar size diesel auto. I knew I had my work cut out but I took my time and was taken by a smart looking Vitara.I first looked at a SX4 S Cross and compared it with a Vitara which was next to it.My Wife who is disabled took a while to accept it because of its looks.I was fortunate that the TCSS box had just been introduced for the diesel I would not go back to a manual again. Its easy to get in and out of and easy to drive and enough luggage room even with a false floor. The Gearbox is not as refined as the DSG although the design is similar,It will be interesting to see if it will last longer than 150000 miles when my Golf box became faulty. The Engine is a bit noisy but pulls well,I can squeeze 60mpg if I take it easy.Steering is a little heavier which I prefer with enough feedback.I like the Vehicle clearance even drove over pigeons without harming any they must have seen the light.Feels safe having Allgrip, tried it on snow and rough Tracks, Hill descent works a treat and makes you feel safer.I like the sunroof giving plenty of light.Infotainment is upmarket with Radar, reverse camera and sensors etc.I will get All season Tyres when due.Very pleased with the Car.
