Citroen C5 (2008 - 2016)
2.0 VTR+ Diesel
Beautiful new design, same old Citroen build quality... Avoid if you can.
Fantastic looking car with reasonable specification however let down by poor electrics.
Drives well, light steering, very soft comfortable suspension (Using springs not Hydro-pneumatic) and very quiet cabin (Acoustic glass, seals and soundproofing.)
Problem with the design of the saloon boot that causes water to collect and pour in when opened.
Have had numerous problems with AC failing to hold gas (condensor fitted under warranty) and electric windows failing (again actuator replaced by dealership.)
Update May 2012 - Second electric window actuator failed, both headlamp motors have had to be replaced, Altenator replaced due to horrendous noise (still get random charge fault warnings) and after the warranty expired I had to shell out for an underbody fusebox that Citroen had quietly redesigned due to a faulty relay causing depolution faults to come up and the engine to cut out whilst driving.
Still a beautiful car but I rue the day I ever set eyes on it in the forecourt.
