Citroen C5 (2008 - 2016)
C5 2.0 HDMI auto
Nice car BUT do the flaws rule it out??
Further to my earlier review here,an update.
had the car a year now and just returned from a 2000 mile trip around France. MPG was quite good considering its a big heavy car. We averaged 47 mpg cruisin at 70/75 on the excellant motorways and D roads. So if you want a good mile munching cruiser in comfort....save a few grand on a similar A4/BMW320/CD220. BUT dont get an auto, it hesitates to shift up, stays in 4th far too long and we have to manually upshift to 6th nearly all the time. It is also a bit jerky downshifting at times.
So get the manual.
Now the negative bit. (And hence my change in rating.)
Its let down quite a bit by the dealership network and their warranty. So IF you think that buying under a warranty is the only must have, think again as they WILL let you down when you need them.
BUT if its out of warranty and cheap.......buy it.
