What car for a family of six do you recommend?
We currently have a 2014 Vauxhall Zafira which has been suprisingly bombproof but it wont last forever, and the kids are turning into teenagers! What car can take the family and ideally luggage space for at least 3 suitcases and 6 airline carry on bags (we squeeze this into the Zafira)? Ideally cheap and reliable. I'm not interested in badges or prestige. We have an EV charger, so it could be an EV or hybrid. Was thinking about Dacia Jogger but it may not be big enough. I prefer to avoid vans like the Ford Tourneo.

You might find our list of the best seven-seaters helpful (link below), however, with most of the non-van-based options, boot space with the third row in place becomes pretty much non-existent. This is especially true of the Dacia Jogger. If your budget allows, the VW Multivan might be the solution - it looks like a van but doesn't drive like one, because it's actually based on a car platform. It has lots of boot space even with all seats in place, and there's the option to remove one of the rear seats which should give room for your suitcases and carry-on bags. For an EV alternative, there's the long-wheelbase ID.Buzz, which is similarly roomy. The real-world range isn't brilliant, though.
