Overall reliability
Reasonable city car with major flaws.
This car has a very harsh jiggly ride over badly patched roads which many of us have to endure. Even on comfort tyre pressures with its small wheels and 70 profile tyres it is much worse than my previous polo and very tiring on any but short trips. Even small road defects are felt. Wind and tyre noise are ever present as is the engine thrum. For me the front seats lack lumbar support making the ride quality harder to endure.Rattle from the gearbox is apparent until the clutch is depressed. This i am told is normal.
