Good economy and practicality c*** in all other respects

A motability car allocated to my partner. In first week autobraking activated on a dual carriageway with nothing infront of the car, which meant that we were very nearly rear ended. Nissan dealer took it back to fix but the system still gives false positives, but has not slammed the brakes on yet. Dealer dismissive of complaint.

Car has completed 7,800 miles to date. Clutch is weak, central locking randomly decides not to work, regardless of which fob is used. Audio system turns itself on at restart, when it was left switched off. Oil usage 1.5 litres in 6,000 miles and before first service.

This is the second Qashqai on motability. First car was much better built, although it shared the weak clutch. Second Qashqai utterly c***, maybe quality control were at lunch when this was built. Best thing about the Qashqai1.5 dci... great economy. Would I buy one... erm no.
