Nissan Qashqai (2014 - 2021)
1-6 DCI N Tec with pan roof
Avoid like the plague, nothing like the origional Qashqui
I picked up this top of range vehicle 12th July 2015. Within two weeks the vehicle alarm would sound for no reason at least 6-10 times a week. Seems Nissan know about this and eventually sent the dealership a part costing some£300/400 to solve the problem. Car away for 8 days to ensure alarm now working. Then front sensors started playing up, seems another problem which Nissan are aware of, part fitted per Nissan. Now showing sensor fault on dash. Then warning sign START/STOP System Fault on panel, preceeded by a peep. this was cleared this week March 2016. Heavy power steering, lack of power up to 4th gear often cuts out between 1-2 gears, leaving you embarrassed if at lights or roundabout. Dangerous as driver behind you has no warning. tacky carpet fitting behind pedals which ofter catch on my foot.
My car is Snow Storm which is pearl paint, not great looking, seats not good for disabled. Reported lights was told they are fine terrible at night.
I am having this car replaced, four visits to the garage in 7 months is not acceptable and she still is not right.
nothing like the origional Qashqui this is living on its good name. I would not normally write to a site to explain why this car is not a good buy but Nissan needs to recall this vehicle and have its power issues and its electrics sorted.
its well documented on the internet faults with New Qashqui. I love cars and feel disappointed that I was made to feel there was nothing wrong with the car. Its about time the Dealers used Mechanics not computers to pick up faults in cars especially if there is a system fault - what drives the cars dionostics
Please avoid this car is living on the name of its prediser.
