Ford Fiesta (2013 - 2017)
1.0 125 Titanium
Excellent to drive, good looking, though a bit firm on potholes
I have the Titanium spec which has nice little things such as auto lights, wipers and climate control. It is a hoot to drive, a real pleasure. It has very firm suspension (recently changed dampers) which tend to bump over bad road surfaces, in town at 30 mph and you feel every part of the road, but the pay off is that when on the open road this car is an absolute pleasure.
I like the 125 turbo, the gearbox is a delight, it pulls low torque and feels confident. Cornering is almost go cart in accuracy, I cannot fault it.
I bought it recently from a main Ford dealer and the engine had been replaced - due to it being a 63 reg there were some "toothing problems" but my `19 engine is almost brand new.
Interior is very high quality, good infotainment, bluetooth and connectivity. Okay no big touch screen, but I don`t need that.
Overall this Fiesta is a lovely car to own, I am proud of it, just getting used to it being a little bit thumpy and bumpy on uneven town road surfaces. Maybe it`s because it is otherwise so quiet and refined I notice it more?. May change the tyres?
