Ford Fiesta (2013 - 2017)
1.0 100ps Zetec 6speed Powershift 5dr
Far better than the sum of its parts
Bought as a bit of a stop gap (after a Korean car disaster), from a car broker but specified with all the added toys we wanted.
A few early niggles - sorted by an excellent family run dealership (in Stratford upon Avon) by setting the tracking, and eventually changing the brake pads and disks.
The dashboard /radio etc is outdated now - but of course is "of its time".
The car drives very well, can have a great turn of speed, but the gearchange can be jerky without care - I believe the software has been updated or reset by the dealer to good effect. It returns over 50mpg in all sorts of driving, usually driven gently but rapidly. It is pleasant to drive, and agile too, although the handling is now slightly dampened by all season tyres.
It is surprisingly pleasant too on long runs (300+ miles).
After nearly 5 years (and 50,000 miles) of use this is a proper little car, well thought out, decent quality and well put together.
