Ford Fiesta (2013 - 2017)
1.0 80ps Zetec Start/Stop 3dr
Not fit for puose
At age 75,I was so excited to be buying my first ever brand new car which was a Ford KA. Very pleased with it, but at the end of the 3rd year foolishly decided to upgrade, just for a bigger car. Worst decision I ever made. I upgraded to a Ford Fiesta zetec. It was a bit sluggish...started to have a few minor issues....but at 6000 miles and 18 months old, it broke down with a clutch failure, and flat battery. Had it replaced, then at 13000 miles another clutch failure. In both failures, ‘driver error’ wear and tear diagnosis was given...even though in 40 years of driving,I have never experienced a clutch problem. In my research, I found that this is what most customers are told. In the very hot weather the cold air was blowing hot. In fact, this car has never been fully functional. Whilst the mechanical issues were unacceptable, even worse was the awful non existent assistance from Fords CRC ( customer relations centre). It is very clear that they have a mission to deny any form of recommence regardless of being their responsibility.. Between the 2 clutch issues, the dealership closed down, and CRC used this as a reason for not assisting. Cannot believe that there are hundreds of customers with identical experiences. Most end up getting rid of the car as soon after having to pay for multiple repairs. So bad all round and Fords have no mora compass when it comes to after sales. I am now reluctant to drive far from home...and it still has only 14000 miles........Very disappointed.....never buy a Ford!!!
