Fantastic value - no nonsense car

I bought this new as a second car - mostly for local trips with the dog and extended family. It was excellent value. The Comfort spec has everything I need (a/c, sat nav, DAB, cruise control, reversing camera, bluetooth streaming etc.) Overall build quality is as good as any other mainstream brand. It is quiet and relaxing to drive with a decent ride comfort and little wind/road noise. The handling is bit rollypolly due to the height and soft springing, but suits the relaxed nature of the car. The 1.6 petrol engine is slow - but again it's not the sort of car that you take for a thrash down country roads. There is plenty of room for five people and a good sized boot. My local dealer (Cardiff Renault) is excellent for both sales and service - an annual service is a reasonable £159. I get around 40mpg on average. I also discovered how to DIY activate Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the satnav for free - which I am delighted by. The standard satnav works fine - but I can now use google maps instead, which has much better real time traffic information. Overall a great no-nonsense car. It won't appeal to the typical Audi driver - but it's perfect as family transport.
