For £12K you get more than the rivals offer for £18K

I expect your reading this as you have seen the positive Duster reviews by the press and said- a bit of a bargain, well your right. You expect new owners to be a bit gushing about their cars but honestly ive owned and driven loads of cars but this is far better than the £12k price tag suggests.

Firstly the £10k buys you a white base model (fine if you like white) add a stereo for £200 and your done

I went the next step up £12,300 on the road with Bluetooth Stereo, air con and metallic paint - (if you buy the essential in Slate Grey metallic then all the door handles match your paint as do the roof bars)

Next choice engine - the 1.6 is a Nissan unit that was used previously on the Qashqai - its fine around town and the motorway - lets be honest an extra £2k for the diesel engine your going to need to do 30K a ear to make the money back, and the possibility of getting banned from some inner city areas. The petrol actually has less depreciation over three years.

What about the 1.3 turbo engines? well budget an extra £1K and only available on the comfort models at the moment.

Stereo Bluetooth spot on, works with phone great, speakers are dual cone with tweeters built in the dash- sounds great. The sat nav system is better on your phone, Ive a fried with a Nissan and they don't use theirs and prefer the phone, its a gimmick tbh.

Ride - soaks up the pot holes - very relaxing to drive.

Interior - its fine and looks top notch (why are people obsessed with soft touch dash plastic? who goes around feeling their dash every time they get in the car! - my point is it looks exactly like every other high spec interior and is well designed.

so If you want to get a brand new car and save yourself £6K and feel smug at people who spent alot more and got less ;-)
