Better than expected

This Duster has surprised me in all that it does. No car that costs this little should do things so well and it does make you realise that all the other manufactures are taking us all for a very long ride. What interests me about a car is the engineer side of it and believe me one thing that is very hard to achieve is how to make a cheap car a good car and Dacia have pulled that off really well.

Any car company can make a good luxury or fast car given untold finance's but the real engineering skills comes from the ability to achieve a car like the Duster with a small asking price.

Our other car is a Honda CRV and that costs two and a half times the cost of the Duster when new, but is it 2.5 times the car!! No of course not 20-25% better iin the overall package I would say. Like most things in this world you are paying mostly for the Badge on the front and if your someone that doesn't feel a non fashionable badge make you look like a low life and would rave have a well engineered car at a sensible price then take a look at a Duster..
