BMW 3 Series (2012 - 2019)

You are buying a badge label
I will start with the positives. It is quite fast yet frugal with fuel. It handles well and has a high spec. The optional premium sound system is the best bit about it. Now the bad bits although faux leather the seats are quite uncomfortable for a long journey, giving little backup support. In 12 months of use, possibly the worst car I have ever had constantly breaking down with electrical faults. Big problem as only a specialist with the proper BMW software can access and repair at a high premium. To be fair when it is working, it is a great drive. However, I have lost faith in it getting me there without a problem . It is a premium vehicle, but you are just buying a badge to impress the neighbours. Unless you have a new one with the dealer warranty be prepared to pay through the nose for parts and servicing.Although I can easily afford to run a premium car I resent hefty bills regularly just to keep the car on the road. To be honest, I am seriously contemplating moving it on and getting a Ford focus. At least that will get me there without something breaking.
