Overall reliability

Great all rounder that never fails to pleasantly surprise me

What is there not to like about this vehicle, it's safe, reliable, spacious, comfortable, economical and is individualistic.
It has go anywhere ability in any weather - it waded through some serious floods last Autumn when lots of cars turned around.
Was forced to go through some seriously deep mud last year and the X mode worked wonders.
The boot can carry 3 sets of golf clubs, trollies, luggage and the golfers with ease.
Leg room; especially in the rear is 2nd to none and the partially reclining rear seats are great for longer journeys.
We have 2 more expensive; quite new BMW's in the household but the Outback is my favourite.
The only thing I'd change is the tailgate height as this needs to be at least 2 to 3 inches higher.
