What's the best way to dry a car - microfibre towels or a chamois?

Which is best to dry cars, chamois or microfibre?

Often personal preference is main decider when it comes to choosing car care products, but the majority of professional valeters use microfibre towels over chamois these days. This is largely because they are relatively inexpensive compared to chamois, offer greater water absorbency and a reduced likelihood of causing scratches. Chamois still have their place as they durable and can tackle a whole car exterior, but unless you are a professional we would suggest microfibre towels are the best place to start.
