Most economical vehicle I have ever had.

Bought this vehicle as a replacement for my previous Astra. Spent about 6 months deciding what to get. This ticks all the boxes as regards fuel economy ( around 64 mpg max 70mph on motorways tank to tank), maintenance costs (due to complexity of power trains these days I need to put this into a non franchised dealer for maintenance) and safety (vision, comfortable to drive and for me adequate carrying capacity).

Economy on short journeys and around town is above 50mpg.

I tend to keep a vehicle rather than change it every 3 years and I fully expect this to see 200K+

My only gripe is the position of the horn button where I prefer it to be at thumb position (2 o clock) on the wheel rather than having to move hand inwards. That’s picky but satisfied with everything else.
