Comfortable and great value
Excellent fuel economy (60mpg on motorway runs) and comfortable ride. DSG changes are very smooth and unobtrusive. A lot of car for the money. Massive boot, lots of room in the back. Slightly overzealous parking assistance does struggle with our hilly drive, sometimes slamming the brakes on for no reason, but otherwise faultless. Solid, mostly intuitive infotainment and good interior materials. A definite step up from older Octavias. Excellent long range cruiser and deals well with in town driving despite it's size due to a range of driver aids. 1.0 has more than enough power, especially in sport mode on the DSG. Would recommend, especially from a main dealer under £10k, feels like a bargain.
