Ford Fiesta (2013 - 2017)
Fiesta 1.0 Titanium EcoBoost 125PS 5Dr
Utterly BRILLIANT
I have owned mainly Japanese cars over the last 20 years, but just required a smaller car for long / motorway driving to work and was pushed in the Fiesta direction by a colleague who's partner had a 3 cylinder 1.0 turbo Fiesta and loves it, so test drove a 5 year old model and was very impressed.
I bought mine in June 2018 at 50k miles and have put on nearly 50k in that time, so car had now done nearly 100k ..... my opinion of it ?
One of the best cars I have ever owned, undoubtedly - I don't have anything bad to say about it - apart from it needing a new battery 6 months after I bought it, I service it every 12 months and that's it, zero issues !!
It's fast, has smooth power constantly on tap - it's very fuel efficient, does 60mpg on motorway runs and around 40mpg around town, but as I simply do motorway runs, the around town figures don't bother me.
Everything works - bluetooth audio is fantastic, bluetooth connectivity - works every time
£0 road tax, cheap insurance ... the list of positives just keeps rolling :)
Very comfortable, very quiet, great driving position - Jeremy Clarkson was quite right in saying this is the best small car you can buy.
I would buy another one tomorrow if I had to, without even questioning it
If you are aware that this is a small car (adequate boot and only carries 4 people) you will love it, no question
