  I have just purchased a 2009 Ford Focus 1.8 (Petrol)  the car engine reaches operating temperature  after about 3 minutes diving approx 1 mile. Is this normal? it seems  to happen far too quickly. Once its reaches temperature it stays firmly on 90 degrees C. Anyone Know anything

  I have got a ford focus 1.8L petrol manual (mk2). My wife has got a 1L nissan micra (bubble shape). Surprisingly enough, the micra outperforms the focus by far on ice. both have standard tyres as everything else. Why is that? Why is the micra better on icy road as compared to the focus?

  All, I've lost the one and only key for my Focus. It is a remote key with open/close and boot. As far as I know car does not have an immobiliser or alarm. Its a 1.8 TDCi if that helps. Do I ring Ford or any other suggestions? Rough guide as to how much ££?? Thanks Dan
