  Probably been posted before but the chain store "The Range" sell 5 litres of Unipart branded fully synth oil for £17.99. They have various grades of 5W/30 in both Ford and VAG 505/507 spec as well as generic 10W/40. Changed mine on Sunday - bargain!

  I am thinking about buying my first car, and need a car that I feel in control of, safe and can comfortably drive being a 4ft 11. The car that I am learning to drive in is a ford fusion 2 and I don't think is a comfortable 'fit'. Any advice appreciated.

  Saw one of those big Fords that come without a spare wheel at the side of the motorway with a shredded tyre, no way was an aerosol in the boot going to be much use to him, wonder how long the makers will get away without providing spares

  my dad hired out a ford sierra when i was younger, the passanger window fell out when my mam tried to wind down the window, as soon as she moved the handle it dropped out and somehow managed to grab hold before it hit the tarmac (serously!)

  I am thinking of buying a Focus TDCI less than a year old from a Ford main dealer and the package includes £235 for a hard protection of the water based paint against such things as bird droppings. Is it worth it and if it's so good why don't the manufacturers put it on at the factory.

  I am thinking of buying an 06 registered Mondeo from my local ford dealer. It is a 1.8LX and around £9700. Seems to have a/c and heated screen as standard. What should I look for and what sort of mpg should I expect . Appreciate if anyone has any comments.

  I bought some of those Holte Wipes to clean the inside of my Windscreen but they just smeared it, Wiped off the excess with a paper towel but now they mist up all smeared and type of shiny - What's the best way to clean them ? It's one of those Ford Quickclear screens if it makes any difference.

  Sorry, another one. Wheels are Ford 15" but the handbook says only use snow chains on 14" wheels, I assume because of clearance. Anyone got any experience? What are you supposed to do, do they only sell Mondeos with 14" wheels in the Alps? Thanks in advance.

  After 2 visits to my local Ford dealership (Crank censor ,Fuel filter) they seem mistified by the cutting out problem, (car will immediately restart on the key) this occurs at any speed. Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
