  Hi could any one shed any light on this problem , when the car is cold the box changes through all the gears with no problem at all , but soon as the car is at normal operating temp the box does not change into the top gears .I would be very grateful for any suggestions thank`s....................

  When driving the car through the gears there is a slight knocking noise from the engine/gearbox. The noise only occurs when your foot is off the accelerator and the clutch pedal is in. No noise on tick over or when revving in neutral. Your help appreciated. s

  In about 2002/2003 Jaguar changed the engine from 4.0L to 4.2L. (1) Why did they do this? (2) Will a 4.2 use more petrol than a 4.0? I'm thinking of getting one, subject to not getting sacked from current job and fulfilling other private business objectives. s

  Anyone advise on some probs with a 2000 corsa 1.7d. Starts fine but when revved stalls, hard to start after that. It did also struggle "under load" ,was in 5th gear and it wouldn't pull dipped clutch to change down and engine stalled, hard to start again. Any help much appreciated. s

  Driving up the M1 yesterday I saw a nice black AMG Mercedes carrying the registration SIDDIK. Clearly it had been 'messed about' but what would it have been issued as. I don't think S 10 DIK would have been issued - for obvious reasons! Any ideas? I am too dim to work it out myself!

  I sat behind a recent Merc S-Class the other day which had LED lights. We were in stop-start traffic in broad daylight and he was using his foot brake nearly constantly. The effect on my eyes was not pleasant. It was almost painful. Perhaps Mercedes, BMW, Range Rover etc should investigate better
