Citroen Xsara (1997 - 2004) - 02 2.0 Tyre speed rating - which one to fit? 27 Jan 2010 (Forum)
My car needs 4 new tyres. The ones I want to fit made by Kumho only come in V rating The 8 year old originals still on the car are H rated. Is it OK to fit the V's? Will my insurers or the MOT test be a problem? -
Volkswagen Golf VI (2009 - ) - New Golf delivery 21 Aug 2009 (Forum)

FIAT Bravo (2007 - ) - New Fiat Bravo? 9 Aug 2009 (Forum)
Anyone any ownership experence of these? I'm looking for a 150bhp Diesel (tried the 150 T jet but wasn't keen) but am a little concerned these cars have Stilo underpinnings. I know there are probally much better cars for the money but I love the way they look and they look very good value for money -
Number plate valuation 7 Apr 2009 (Forum)
My daughter's getting rid of her thirteen year old Micra. It's got an NI registration TAZ nnnn. I was wondering if it might be worthwhile trying to sell it seperately. The car's taxed and tested so there should be no issues there. I've no experience in this area and haven't a clue if it's got any -
What's in *your* cubby hole? 20 Sep 2008 (Forum)
I ask this question, since I have just remembered that the tin-opener, which I have been looking for, off and on, for some weeks, has just turned up in the car's cubby hole. It was accompanied by a pair of opera-glasses, some ears of wheat, a few car-park tickets, some old moorland sheep's bones -
FIAT Grande Punto (2006 - 2009) - 1.2 - Anyone driven one? 2 Apr 2008 (Forum)
Just wondering if anyone's had a drive in this car? Thinking about one to replace my Fiesta 1.25. Is the 1.2 engine painfully slow or actually not too bad in the old rev-the-nuts-off-it Italian small car way? Also had a look at the Mitsubishi Colt, £5k ish to spend. Any other ideas? -

I am thinking of buying a Nissan Almera, It has been written off by the insurance as cat c. The dealer selling the car told me that he has replaced front head lights, front, back bumper and a passanger side wing. Its for about 2000 £ and is 7 years old. Do you think its worth spending that much -
When's the best time to sell your car? 31 Aug 2006 (Forum)
If you ask Roy Keane (MU& Celtic) it was last Monday afternoon. His Bentley Flying Spur was stolen from Bentley Edinburgh and driven around the city by "youths" who filled it with petrol & left without paying. Subsequently is found burned out in Edinburgh. An 18 yr old has been arrested -
Nissan X Trail-Gone 16 May 2006 (Forum)
My next door neighbours sister-in-law went shopping to Barkingside in Essex a couple of weeks ago, parked and locked/alarmed up her 2 year old X Trail, when she returned the car had gone, and has not been seen since. I thought modern cars were almost as safe as houses, is she unlucky or are Nissans -

Porky Peugeots 25 Nov 2005 (Forum)
Read an article in the paper today about how as cars get bigger it is increasingly hard to park them in standard car park bays. Also saw my first new Peugeot 407 today. Good looking vehicle but its a porker. Seems all new models are bigger than the old ones. Fair enough but why I wonder -
Your car says a lot about who you are 13 Mar 2005 (Forum)
Judging by the amount of abuse I regulary get, I'm convinced that when driving around in my red volvo 340, other road users (especially white van man) think its being driven by a cloth capped old bloke and act accordingly. Do any of you fellow volvo 340 owners have the same problem? -
Driving from the rear seat. 12 Sep 2004 (Forum)
I've suddenly developed an interest in a Picasso. I know a new car takes some getting used to. But how long is the process in a Picasso where you drive from what in any other car would be the rear seat? Seriously that is a very nasty feeling. And the pedals are way off set or I need an operation -
Road Tax Exemption 25 Aug 2004 (Forum)
Can anyone here clarify the requirements for a car to be tax exempt. I always believed it was only vehicles built before a certain date (1974 or 1975 ish) that are eligible for road tax exemption. However, someone in work has a car for sale that was built in August 1979 and they claim -
new car doors 11 Jul 2004 (Forum)
noticed more and more - most manufactures are moving towards thin door window frames. not only is this worse for security but alos increases potential wind noise in the cabin. plus today being with a new golf, it didnt feel as well built or as strong as the old one. nor did it look as strong. same -
Chrysler Crossfire and Clarkson 27 Apr 2004 (Forum)
Regarding HJ's Top Car report today - the December 03 Crossfire that failed to even reach 20k... Could one comment from Clarkson regarding the dog-squatting rear end really cause this, or is the car, if you excuse the pun, a real dog...? Maybe people don't want to pay so much money for what -

Top Trumps 30 Sep 2002 (Forum)
For some reason (probably because it is Friday afternoon) my mind started wandering and ended up on Top Trumps. It got me thinking that this was what got me first interested in cars. Do they still make Top Trumps (cos as soon as my boy is old enough.....)? My favourite car was the Monteverdi Hai
