I am thinking of buying a Nissan Almera, It has been written off by the insurance as cat c. The dealer selling the car told me that he has replaced front head lights, front, back bumper and a passanger side wing. Its for about 2000 £ and is 7 years old. Do you think its worth spending that much money on this car?? Any suggestion advice is welcome. Thank you.

Far too much money when there is plenty of straight ones about. Is it a last model Almera or the N-W reg one?
They're good cars, very reliable but that's just too much for a write off
Although oddly, a look on Auto Trader (eyes left) reveals that R reg ones (the same age as mine) are being advertised for £1800 ish. That seems high too.

Thanks for your reply. The car is Y reg. It has got air conditioner and central locking etc. More comments are welcome. Thank you.

Plenty of Almeras about without considering dodgy ones. See, just for example:

There are probably dozens more...:-)

you dont say condition mileage etc
if its low mileage the engine is well serviced and the air conditioning is working and only the bumpers one wing and a pair of headlights (all the stuff a 5mph bump will ruin ) then i would say the price sounds ok to me
