  Anyone advise on some probs with a 2000 corsa 1.7d. Starts fine but when revved stalls, hard to start after that. It did also struggle "under load" ,was in 5th gear and it wouldn't pull dipped clutch to change down and engine stalled, hard to start again. Any help much appreciated. s

  Driving up the M1 yesterday I saw a nice black AMG Mercedes carrying the registration SIDDIK. Clearly it had been 'messed about' but what would it have been issued as. I don't think S 10 DIK would have been issued - for obvious reasons! Any ideas? I am too dim to work it out myself!

  I sat behind a recent Merc S-Class the other day which had LED lights. We were in stop-start traffic in broad daylight and he was using his foot brake nearly constantly. The effect on my eyes was not pleasant. It was almost painful. Perhaps Mercedes, BMW, Range Rover etc should investigate better

  now i have got my bonnet on i can fix my problem, does anyone have any good pointers on how to remove a water pump on a lauguna 1.8 16v (aircon). i also have to replace the o/s bonnet lock and the release cable. and get the fan belt back on which was hard enough to get off cheers

  Right have just bought beautiful 3 door 1998 Saab 900 s 2 litre from my neighbour. He can't tell me about the last timing best change (the car has 98000 miles). Methinks I read somewhere that this engine has a timing chain. Was it cheap at £1000? One owner, alloys etc
