  Just collected a 2009 1.4 S (80hp) Golf Mk6. According to HJ's road test (in the engines section) its a chain cam engine, however the VW salesman seemed to think its a belt cam. Anyone know which is actually true?

  i'm looking at an altea s spec with the 1.9 90hp engine.it's brand new and a good deal ive been told that these engines aren't economical and 40 in town is very optimostic. my friends i30 gets 46 around town and i was hoping for something very near to that mileage if possible.

  I remember seeing some fluorescent Fords in the early 1970?s; they were either pale green or pink(ish) and were both on Capri and Escort models. The finish was matt, not metallic and they really were fluorescent. Not seen one for ages and ages. Does anyone know if the paint was a Ford option

  Does anyone know how to remove the O/S/R lamp assembly to gain access to bulb? I have removed 5 securing screws that were visible, but the lamp still seems attached somehow. Any ideas?

  Our ´99 Astra has done just over 100k miles. It´s got the 1.8 16V petrol engine. Its cambelt and pulleys were changed at 62k, in Feb 2004. Should I get the cambelt done now, or wait until it hits 120k? Any advice gratefully received. Barchettaman
