  mk 2 vw polo 1988..old style mechanical cam driven pump i replaced the fuel pump last year as it was damp...just latley the car has stunk of fuel , but i could never find a leak....well i found that the pump leaks like crazy for about 1 min then stops is it normal for a pump to fail after a year

  I have a corsa 1.2 8v and the fuel economy is raher bad only about 30 mpg. However The hot air feed from the exhaust manifold goes nowhere into the air box it only has the cold air feed. If I was to drill a hole into the airbox to take the hot air feed this would allow the engine to warm up quicker
