We are as motorists taking a bashing from politicians with ever increasing fuel prices speed cameras etc. It seems to be their aim in life to get us off the roads. I suggest a no car week and the whole country uses our public transport system. I would arrive at work just in time to go home and save all that money on fuel and parking etc. Shopping would be wonderful as your wife could not get much home the car being unavailable. It beggars belief that car users take such a bashing, we cannot live in the past and like it or not cars are vital to this countries economy.

I'd LOL if it wasn't true!

There's going to be a General Election within a year, most likely on May 5th, 2005.

Just vote off all the car use hating, fuel tax raising, parking charges raising politicians i.e. most of New Labour, especially the ones that adopt the "Don't do as I do, do as I say" approach, whilst using their official limos at every opportunity.
