Toyota Auris (2013 - 2019)
Excel 1.8 VVT-i HybridSynergy Drive CVT 136 Auto 5dr Hatchback
Easy lazy drive ,just sit and steer comfort and quality money saver motoring
I bought this car as a replacement for a Honda 2006 crv,as I had recently retired and was no longer commuting to work.i thought only need a car for local runs and some motorway. Journeys. When I first drove this car I thought how quiet and well built it is Just get in press the power on button and go! The car is no formula one car but when in power mode which you can select from Eco mode , for faster acceleration petrol and electricity from start, will leave a golf gti diesel standing at traffic lights. But this car is not for people who think that's important. The car is very comftable easy to drive no road tax and cheap insurance servicing costs are about the same as standard costs . The only down side is the roof line is low, no spare wheel as most car makers seem to follow. There is some road noise from the tyres but this depends on type of road ie concrete Tarmac etc noise ranges from intrusive to quiet. Overall this car which I've had for 16 months and 9000 miles has been 100% reliable with lots of cost savings as regards motoring. Overall this is a good purchase the Toyota 5 year warranty and 8 year warranty on the batteries says it all.
