2.2i CTDi SE 5dr Hatchback

Good all rounder

Bought this car to replace my ageing Mazda 3. This is my first diesel and after plenty of research I went with Honda's Diesel due to reliability.

Very spacious inside and drives well. Doesn't handle as well as my Mazda but not many marques would.

The diesel is great fun and pulls immensely from 1700rpm. On a motorway run at 70mph I easily get 57mpg which is pretty good.

A potential downside is the quality of the sound system. It seriously lacks bass when compared to a standard audio system in other cars. I bought a small 8" sub and solved that problem.

Road noise is acceptable, it's not super quiet in the cabin but it's not that loud either. Quiter than my Mazda and about the same as a Focus.

The same engine was used in the Accord and I've seen taxis in Leeds that have done well over 200k, so I expect this engine to be pretty robust.
