Ford Kuga (2013 - 2020)
2.0TDCi 150 Titanium X Sport 5dr
Not worth the hassle
Car bought April 2018 , problems with ECU that parking aid wouldn't work , visited trust ford 4 times under manufacturers warranty in 2 weeks . Ford tried to reboot/ reset the ECU with no luck, was told ECU was replaced. At 20000 miles.
Driver and passenger chair constantly squeaking while driving at 30000 miles, eventually ford realised the problem and sprayed expending foam under the seat to stop the problem.
At 35000 miles gears hard to change, visited local mechanic who advised manufacturers fault, flywheel was so bent that it had to be hammered straight in order to remove, new clutch, flywheel, slave cylinder replaced.
At 40000 miles, media screen turned white, visited ford who then advised ECU was never changed, free diagnostics done reluctantly by ford, "new software update for sync 1 installed" no paperwork provided to confirm this
Ride is hard on 19' alloys, seats are comfortable, plenty of rear leg room, plenty of boot space, gear changes are clunky and quite annoying
