the most uncomfortable car I have ever sat in

The car is good looking and drives well. The front seats are simply the worst I have ever experienced in 40 years of motoring. When I first sat in the car prior to purchase I thought the sports seats which were in the vehicle I tried were part of the standard X line package as the cheaper model below this had them and paying substantially more for the x line upgrade you would expect so. Wrong! the fault is all mine for not checking the brochure thoroughly. On turning corners the side squabs collapse and almost put you onto the seat frame BMW and the dealership say this is normal. I asked them to take the car back after one week BMW and the dealership offered to oblige but wanted another £3500 !which I could not afford. I notice that all the test models for the press have sports seats and I know of one BMW dealer that orders all of his cars with the sports seats to overcome this problem. Incidentally, I am 12stone
