BMW X1 (2015 - 2022)
S drive 18i xline 5dr SUV
Really great car to drive
The car looks good, spec is very good but some extras should be standard for high spec car.
There is plenty of room in the front and ample space in the rear with loads of leg room and headroom. Info system is easy and connects very well to all systems.
I was not expecting the performance I am getting on a 3 cylinder petrol engine. The car flies. Plenty of power when needed and 3 modes to drive in. I have tried Eco setting but it feels like driving with the handbrake partially on with little savings in fuel. Comfort setting is my normal driving mode, sometimes switching to Sport mode when fast acceleration or overtaking was needed.
Fuel economy round town high 30's and on runs I get 44 to 48mpg. Just covered approx 500 miles on a tank with 4 longer runs and a week of town runs and it returned average 44mpg over tank.
Would recommend and extra boot space is a hidden gem when needed as is the sliding rear seats, well planned and executed car
