  Hi I bought a 07 plate 1.9 diesel Octavia last month and a mighty fine car too. Trouble is I can't get my head round a two year service interval ( I always did a six month intermediate oil change on my last car) and since we only cover 10K a year, so might be better changing to fixed

  I get my oil changed around 10k or so miles or 12 months. Last year it was £62 (March). I just got quoted £115 from same place I always use. Tried shopping around and nothing cheaper. How can an oil and filter change have doubled in less than 12 months?

  hope somebody can help I have a 1993 audi 80 which has done over 170K. I have found the minor servicing has now begun to get expensive especially when they probably only change the oil. I am wondering if changing the engine oil is a DIY job and relatively simple. I have changed spaerk plugs

  I had the car serviced yesterday and they changed all the spark plugs. Apparently there was oil in there. I sent hubby out to check that they indeed had changed them and there was oil in there. I have driven 6miles since they were changed. Any help?
