I had the car serviced yesterday and they changed all the spark plugs. Apparently there was oil in there. I sent hubby out to check that they indeed had changed them and there was oil in there. I have driven 6miles since they were changed. Any help?

The oil is probably leaking past the cam cover gasket. Why didn't they ask you if they could rectify it while they had it there? The oil will degrade the ends of the plug connectors and give problems in time.

IIRC, the garage had mentioned the oil leak into the plug recesses earlier. They then serviced it, without rectifying what is probably a very minor fault. There is a lesson in this I fear. Run away!

The garage is in a bit of a difficult position - if they don't do the extra work, they come under fire. If they do the extra work, then others would complain about unauthorised work.
Obviously, the right thing to do is to ask the customer - did they attempt to?
