Wish to change oil and filter, can anyone let me know best type of oil, how much I need? Best type of filter. (Service book mislaid during house move!)

Genuine filter & buy the best oil you can afford or what nissan recomend, as for the capacity id expect around 5ltrs with filter but check with nisan.
