  and at the moment I am considering the Toyota Verso, VW Golf Plus, VW Touran and the Ford S-Max.  If there are any non MPV models that could meet these requirements, I would also be interested in considering them Any ideas please? Many thanks in advance! HH

  everything is new, belts, filters, everything! It started though after a recent cambelt change. The old belt was very slack and the new one (Inc rollers) made a very noticeable difference in performance, a slight one in mpg and the engine even sounds more like a diesel! it does around mid 40's mpg wise

  of alternatives, Pug 406's seem more to insure. Maybe an Octavia? Have looked at something like a  Zafira, but its tough to find a cheap one that isnt a wreck.

  My sons Passat o/s rear door is deadlocked shut & won't unlock. If you pull the lever from inside, the locking pin comes up but even while pulling the lever you can't open the door. As soon as you let go of the lever the pin goes back flush with the door trim. I've managed to remove the door card
