Hi all

Occasional visitor, but not posted for a while.

I am thinking of buying myself a (late) Xmas present. I have a budget of £35k (ish) to spend on a car. Requirements :

4 door saloon, reasonably spacious

Fast, fun to drive, but reasonable economy

Luxurious interior

Reliable, up to a year old

I have narrowed my shortlist down to :

Jag XF 3.0d S portfolio (probably pre facelift, as better value)

Merc CLS coupe (new shape)

Lexus LS600h (OK, will have to go older to get within budget)

Infiniti M hybrid (left field choice, but had a G on a year's lease which I really enjoyed)

So far, I have tested the first 2, but not yet the second 2.

Which would you choose and why?
