Buying a European car in Africa
I am in Africa, would like to buy a used German car. 1.8L max What would you recommend?
Previously owned a Toyota Runx, but would love a "better" car. Preferably a European model. I am told they are much better than Japanese models. Not sure though. Saloon car or a small SUV. What would you recommend?

I don't agree with what you have been told. No idea what a Toyota Runx is. Never heard of that. But Japanese built, Japanese cars are definitely more reliable than European.
