  Helo, i have a mk2 punto jtd and it was running ok today (first day iv used it ) but this evening it seems very slugish and doesnt want to rev which makes it a bit dangerous. I was wondering if there is anything i might be able to check or should i just take it for a diagnostic?

  Hi all, Does anyone know if this model/engine will be ok to run biodiesel? Other than replacing the fuel filters more regularly and after the first 100 miles or so, are there any other parts that will need replacing routinely? What ratio is recommended? Any help is appreciated, Cheers

  I have a problem with my factory fit alarm. It is running continuously after changing the alternator. The sounder is on, hazards flashing and alarm indicator light is on continuously. The car can be locked from outside with the key, but cannot be unlocked. Neither front door will unlock

  Hi i have a dual fuel astra when i switch to petrol it seems to be missing on 1 but when i switch back to gas it runs nearly perfect with an occasional missfire. Any help would surely be appreciated thanks Jason

  Saab 2003 Aero, Light came on, but car is running fine. Bought a fault code reader, but reader just says Error. Could any one shed some light on this because I grieve paying a garage 80 smackers to tell me the code fault, if any. Many thanks! Neil.

  Morning all. I suspect that the air mass meter on my Escort turbo diesel is not working. I have a running issue with the car, so after a bit of research I thought I'd disconnect the meter to see if the problems I'm having changed........it didn't. In fact nothing changed at all, does this mean

  There is a lacl of power as car moves up through the gears, cant hear turbo "whistle" but there is a rush of air sound on initial acceleration. Car runs happily at higher speed on straight road - i.e 50/60 mph ps . where is the air filter located as we thought this might be a good place to start.

  We currently have 3 x 5 door Fiesta Zetec Diesels at Work. All currently coming past £100k. Fiestas have been very reliable, but things are starting to go wrong now. What would people recommend looking at for cheaper running costs. 100K warranties make me thing about Kia Rio's.

  i have a motor that will not run i have had the ecu tested, i have also tried a control relay and a crank sensor all to no avail!!!! i am getting a single injector pulse when i first crank the engine but thats it. plaease help i can't take much more

  Can I run my 110bhp chipped to 143bhp, 1999 V reg passat tdi on vegetable oil? Do I need to dilute it with with normal diesel? Will there be any longer term damage. Currently on 165K miles. Or will it not work at all and screw up the engine? Thanks in advance. Marcus

  Just got a 406, my first diesel ever. Idle speed is showing 1000 on the rev counter but I think this is a bit high, am I correct. Also normal running temperature is around 70, this seems a bit low too. Any suggestions?

  Hey guys, bought an old volvo for 350 quid fsh and only 53000 miles. Car runs perfect but horn would not work, i replaced the unit and it worked for a while, but then stopped. I have checked the fuses and there is current at the horn terminals as i have tested it with a multimeter. I am stumped
