Added value of warranty - Graz
Hi,

I`ve been looking at the second hand car price guides.

I have 1 yr to run on a Class A unlimited mileage warranty from Ford Direct, how much would this add to the car if I wanted to sell it second hand over and above the recommended list price.

Probably not much, but it would be a good selling point and should make it easier to sell, especially privately - I take it that its transferable?!

An unlimited mileage one year warranty from Warranty Direct would be close to £300, I would think, based on what I pay for a 12,000 mile warranty from them. That is what it might cost you but I don't think it will add anything like that to the sale price, if anything, even if it is transferrable
